As a fourth year Sport Management student, my school career is coming down to an end. One of the final assignments that I will have to do for my undergraduate degree is this Contract Blog for Dr. Findlay in our Legal Drafting and Contract Analysis class. This project is designed for the students to expand on the topics that we discuss in class that peak the interests of the students, and then relate them to real-life examples.
My major interest in the sporting industry is around intercollegiate athletics, and more specifically NCAA Basketball. During my time at Brock, I have started my own website, entitled College Court Report, that gives me an avenue to express my opinions around the NCAA. With very few people in Canada who are interested in college basketball, the website allows me to talk about what I want to, when I want to do it.
With my focus on NCAA basketball, I will be trying to relate the topics discussed in class to various examples in NCAA basketball. The majority of the scenarios and examples will be real-life examples, but some may be made up to highlight the concepts learned in class. If they are fake scenarios, I will specify at the beginning of the post for that particular concept.
I hope you find the blog enjoyable to read, and I value any and all feedback that you may have on ways to improve it!
